Credit to @food_xprt ?? Jeffrey Cagnes ?Stohrer, Paris Kouglof. Since I tasted those from Maison Christian in Strasbourg, I have been looking for a good kouglof in Paris. Visually, this one has all the codes, the singular shape, the raisins, the icing sugar and the flaked almonds (I would have preferred whole). When cut, you can see the honeycomb texture of a brioche. When tasting, the taste is good and brings back good memories of Alsace, but the texture is a bit dry. I would have preferred a denser and more stringy crumb
