Still game season! Wild deer have no natural predators, and if left unchecked, will strip and destroy this year’s tree saplings, leading to worse climate damage than if they are responsibly controlled. If you are to eat meat, use this season to eat local wild game from your local butcher (mine is @dringsgreenwich ). It’s the most sustainable way to eat meat, slashes food miles and supports your local economy. Plus, it tastes GREAT.

Not much to say about this plate except it was delicious, and sharing this meal with the godparents to our daughter @violinrich @megan_flora89 who live the other side of London (aka 19,000hrs away) made it all the more special.

I’m not American, but I am #Thankful for the people we’ve been blessed to meet and have in our lives along our journey.
