I have to tell you, this was my first time making protein pancakes. I never made them before. But working out so much and already adding all the plant-based protein where I can, I thought I’d supplement some, too. Trying the protein powder from @gardenoflifede (AD) here. ? vegan protein pancakes ?
Serves 2
200 g spelt or wheat flour ( I always use the darker one)
50 g protein powder from @gardenoflifede
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
350 g plant-based milk of your choice. I used oat milk
Method:
1. Combine all ingredients in your blender or a bowl until smooth.
2. In a non-sticky pan melt a tiny bit of coconut oil. Then bake 2 small pancakes at a time. Proceed with the rest of the batter as well.
3. Stack, top with fruit if choice and nutbutter if you want to ??
