Junior Sous Chef Andover Hampshire
A superb, well established dining pub, serving award winning food under the watchful eye of the Michelin trained Chef Patron, typically serving 60 Covers, completing lots of inhouse butchery, pickling, curing etc.
A Junior Sous Chef required to work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef assisting with the daily running of the kitchen, organising daily prep and helping to train the team ensuring standards are maintained.
We are looking for a friendly, talented chef, somebody who can keep cool under pressure, stay organised and that understands the importance of building a team.
Ideally our Client is looking for a somebody to stay and grow withing the company as they have big plans for future Sous and Chef Patron roles within their group.
Applicants will ideally need to live in the Andover, Newbury, Marlborough, Burbage, Whitchurch or possibly Basingstoke area with their own transport
Base Salary of £24,000 – £28,000
Share of Generous Staff Tips usually £4,000 – £6000
4 ½ Day working week (off Sunday Evenings, Monday & Tuesday)
Live in above pub, double room en suite (shared kitchenette)
